We are thrilled to be offering the Myra Makes afterschool program this Fall!
In this program we help our character Myra overcome challenges she faces in her adventures by building with Legos, pipe cleaners, and other art supplies.
Participants will also create their own problem solving stories and collaborate in teams. Myra Makes programs help participants build spatial visualization ability, problem solving strategies, critical thinking, and collaborative dynamics.
This program has been inspired to help bridge the gap between gender achievement in STEM fields but is open to all kids aged 6-9.
We are thrilled to be offering this program through two venues, starting September 20th:
Mondays 4-6 PM, October 3-November 14 (skipping Halloween) at the CU Natural History Museum. $90 for six-week program, or $18 per day drop-in (Is cost an issue? Let us know when you register!). Register here!
Tuesdays 4-5:30 PM, September 20-November 1 at the CU Science Discovery Learning center. $115 for six-week program. Register here!
